Feather-watching CD script by Lisa hug

This is the script to my Feather-Watching CD about feather topography and molt strategies that I published in 2009.

It is an interactive, visual CD produced in PowerPoint. It is self-running and narrated. There are interactive quiz slides scattered throughout the presentation. I think it is unique in that it handles some difficult topics for birder, but it presents them in an easy format. The CD is for sale on my website at http://lisahugsnorthbaybirds.com/the-molt-cd/

Topics include feather topography, general molt sequences in birds and the current terminology used to describe these molt sequences. The subject matter has been checked over twice by Steve Howell and once by Peter Pyle.


This script of the presentation can be used as an extra study guide for the material or as an aid hearing-impaired people .
